DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) — Today’s watchlist may look familiar, as these names have been developing stories we have followed across previous reports, from a potential trading squeeze in XIAO-I (NASDAQ:AIXI) to NeOnc’s (NASDAQ:NTHI) brain-cancer programs. Others include BIO-key International (NASDAQ:BKYI), STAK (NASDAQ:STAK), WISeSat.Space (NASDAQ:SAIQ), and J-Star Holding (NASDAQ:YMAT).

XIAO-I: The Stock We Flagged for Potential Squeeze Has Doubled

XIAO-I Corporation (NASDAQ:AIXI) has delivered a dramatic move since our October 2 report, “Squeeze Could Be Brewing.” The Chinese AI company has drawn renewed trader attention as volatility and its altered American depositary share (ADS) structure fuel speculation about whether buying pressure can continue to drive the stock higher.

The September 8 ADS-ratio change moved the structure from one ADS representing 60 ordinary shares to one ADS representing 420 ordinary shares. Economically, this was equivalent to a one-for-seven reverse ADS split for ADS holders, while the underlying ordinary shares remained unchanged.

The financing picture adds another layer. XIAO-I disclosed a $2.17 million convertible promissory note transaction in June, including 325,000 ADSs issued as pre-delivery shares. An additional convertible note disclosed in August could result in up to $4.33 million in ADSs upon conversion. Depending on the terms and timing, potential share issuance could create dilution and selling pressure.

NeOnc: Brain-Cancer Research, Abu Dhabi Expansion, and Technical Rebound in Focus

NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI) is approaching a potentially important stretch as its investigational brain-cancer programs, international expansion and short-term trading setup converge. The company is scheduled to appear on Health Uncensored with Dr. Drew on Fox Business Network on Sunday, October 25, at 5:30 p.m. ET. CEO Amir F. Heshmatpour and Chief Scientific Officer Thomas Chen, MD, PhD, are expected to discuss NEO100 and the challenge of delivering potential therapies across the blood-brain barrier.

The international story is also developing. NeOnc announced a memorandum of understanding with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health covering proposed scientific exchange, specialist training, real-world evidence and the evaluation of potential clinical research opportunities. The company has also described compassionate-use treatment involving children in Abu Dhabi.

Short interest reportedly increased from 522,311 shares on September 15 to 757,739 on September 30, a rise of approximately 45.1%.

The more consequential fundamental milestone may be the November 17 FDA meeting concerning NEO212’s proposed Phase 2 study design and potential regulatory pathways.

BIO-key: 7 Gulf Customers Keep Biometric Security in Play

BIO-key International (NASDAQ:BKYI) is expanding its identity-security footprint in the Gulf region, where government agencies and other institutions are looking to strengthen access controls and reduce reliance on vulnerable passwords. The company says it has secured seven new Gulf-region customers over six months, with its latest Middle East government contract adding to that regional expansion narrative.

Its product portfolio combines PortalGuard identity and access management, Passkey:YOU FIDO2 passwordless authentication, the WEB-key biometric engine and EcoID III fingerprint scanners. BIO-key’s Identity-Bound Biometrics approach aims to link authentication to an individual’s biometric identity rather than relying solely on passwords, devices or tokens. The company is delivering the latest deployment with regional integration partner VaporVM.

STAK: Revenue Growth Returns the Company to Profitability

STAK (NASDAQ:STAK) has delivered a financial turnaround in its fiscal 2026 results, reporting revenue of $28.2 million, up 13.21% from $24.9 million a year earlier. More significantly, the specialized oilfield vehicle and equipment manufacturer recorded approximately $426,000 in net income, compared with a $5.7 million net loss in fiscal 2025. The return to profitability is a notable change in the company’s financial trajectory.

Specialized oilfield vehicles drove the improvement. Revenue from that category increased 103.35% to approximately $22.2 million, while specialized oilfield equipment revenue fell 53.89% to approximately $5.5 million. STAK has shifted resources toward higher-priced vehicles and equipment development, and the average selling price of its specialized oilfield vehicles rose 41.85%, from $29,564 to $41,936.

However, the turnaround is not without complications. Gross profit slipped 3.07% to approximately $7.5 million, and gross margin narrowed from 30.86% to 26.43%. The pressure reflects higher production costs and a changing product mix. Operating expenses declined 41.06% to approximately $6.4 million, helping offset the weaker gross-profit performance.

WISeSat.Space: Satellite Launch Puts Post-Quantum Security in Orbit

WISeSat.Space (NASDAQ:SAIQ) entered the public markets in October after completing its business combination with Columbus Acquisition Corp. Its shares began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker SAIQ on October 2. The company is developing secure satellite communications for Internet of Things applications, combining space infrastructure with cybersecurity and digital identity technology.

On October 19, a Falcon 9 rideshare mission launched FOSSASAT-2E27, a 6U satellite developed by strategic partner FOSSA Systems. WISeSat announced the successful launch and deployment on October 20. The satellite carries VaultIC secure-element technology from SEALSQ (NASDAQ: LAES), creating another opportunity to test hardware-based cybersecurity under actual orbital conditions.

The collaboration is designed to progressively validate security technologies across up to six selected satellite missions, including potential next-generation post-quantum components, subject to technical readiness and integration. The broader ambition is to address a growing concern for connected infrastructure: how to protect devices and communications as cyber threats evolve and quantum computing potentially changes the capabilities available to attackers.

J-Star: Texas Drone Manufacturing Plans Target Fast-Evolving Market

J-Star Holding (NASDAQ:YMAT) is seeking to extend its more than 50 years of composite-manufacturing experience into the U.S. drone industry. The company announced on October 19 that it was negotiating to acquire a commercial manufacturing facility in the Greater Houston area, potentially establishing a Texas base for drone-frame production.

The proposed facility would support YMA (TX) INC., an independent U.S. entity that J-Star is organizing to pursue potential joint ventures with North American drone developers, aerospace manufacturers and industrial partners. The strategy is to combine J-Star’s carbon-fiber expertise, proprietary resin formulations, composite structural designs and engineering capabilities with U.S.-based manufacturing.

“Being in active negotiations to secure our Houston manufacturing site located in the Greater Houston area marks a decisive step forward in our North American expansion strategy,” Chairman and CEO Jonathan Chiang said.
