Eva Live Bets on Wireless IP to Power the Next Generation of Defense and Space Infrastructure

DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) — Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping defense, but autonomous systems are only as effective as the communications networks connecting them. That is the strategic thesis behind Eva Live (NASDAQ:GOAI), which has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent to acquire a controlling 51% stake in Airbeam Wireless Technologies Inc., with an option to purchase the remaining 49%, in a transaction valuing Airbeam at approximately US$16 million.

If completed, the acquisition would give Eva Live access to a portfolio of more than 260 patents and millimeter-wave semiconductor technologies whose development traces back through UC Berkeley’s Berkeley Wireless Research Center, SiBeam, Silicon Image and Lattice Semiconductor. According to Airbeam’s historical documentation, the underlying technology lineage benefited from more than $150 million in cumulative research, development and commercialization investment over more than two decades.

The proposed transaction reflects a broader trend across global defense and communications markets. Military planners increasingly view resilient, high-bandwidth networking as a critical requirement for autonomous drone swarms, distributed sensing and AI-enabled battlefield operations. At the same time, demand for next-generation wireless infrastructure extends beyond defense into smart cities, industrial automation and expanding satellite constellations.

Eva Live believes Airbeam’s directional 60GHz beamforming technology could complement its artificial intelligence platform by enabling secure, adaptive mesh communications for autonomous systems operating in contested environments. The company also sees longer-term opportunities in satellite networking and future lunar communications infrastructure, although those applications remain forward-looking.

The announcement arrives as governments worldwide continue increasing investment in defense modernization, autonomous systems and secure communications. Against that backdrop, the proposed acquisition represents an effort by Eva Live to combine AI software with advanced wireless hardware and intellectual property rather than building those capabilities internally.

While the transaction remains subject to definitive agreements and customary closing conditions, the proposed acquisition would significantly expand Eva Live’s technology portfolio and position the company at the intersection of artificial intelligence, advanced wireless networking and defense infrastructure—markets the company believes could collectively represent a multi-trillion-dollar long-term opportunity.
